Lake Wylie

This was a dream project—working with a client who had an incredible collection of high-end designer clothing, shoes, and handbags that she wanted to display in her husband's former home office. The space was completely transformed from a room of wall-mounted taxidermy into a jewel box, with eye candy at every turn: a 19th-century armoire customized and lined in cheetah wallpaper on the inside, Gucci skateboards mounted on the wall, Gucci black-and-white floral wallpaper on the ceiling, flocked cheetah wallpaper on the door paneling as you walk in, and a custom cloverleaf storage ottoman in an embossed metallic snakeskin leather.

This room was truly a dream to design. Manning's Design is thrilled to imagine the client hosting runway shows with her grandkids for years to come, or sipping coffee while she picks out her next wardrobe for the event she'll be attending next.
