A special repeat client in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, brought the design team back to create a custom home rooted in timeless Lowcountry tradition. Classic architectural details are layered with collected, storied elements throughout, including gas lanterns, chinoiserie-inspired interiors, and an English garden aesthetic.

Upstairs, the playroom offers sweeping views of the Ravenel Bridge, while the backyard preserves a piece of local history with the original brick wall from River Reach at Remley’s Point. The dining room makes a statement with an exquisite wallpaper design where chinoiserie meets the romance of an English garden, while a color drenched scullery adds a moody, unexpected moment.

On the back porch, traditional rockers set the stage for leisurely afternoons filled with sweet tea, fried chicken, and good company all enjoyed alongside the family’s beloved white Labrador, Perry Grace. The result is a home that feels distinctly Southern, deeply personal, and effortlessly inviting.
